Avoid taking your dog here please ! They don’t care about ur pets !!!! I needed an exam for my dog they change my apt few times … very poor management they are very unprofessional!! Please go save ur time !

The worst vet experience I’ve had to this day. I drove all the way from east Harlem with my senior puggle for his dental cleaning appointment only for the receptionist to tell me at the time of the appointment that the vet wasn’t gonna be there and that we needed to reschedule to another day. Mind you, this was after we already had paid for his blood exam to make sure he was fit for anesthesia, so this was our second drive all the way there. We wasted hundreds of dollars and countless hours only to be met with this last minute change. No apologies whatsoever from the vet. They also were incredibly loose about the whole process. No email or phone call to remind us of our appointment and it was really hard to get a hold of them overall. The facility also looks unhygienic and dirty. At the end, I lost money for nothing, but probably dodged a bullet.

The Vet took good care of my TJ and when TJ passed away the doctor extended his condolence and told if it's anything he can do or help to let him know that meant a lot to me and this was almost 5 years ago but I never forget and staff is also awesome .

The doctor is amazing but the staff is terrible, always different people behind the desk, the office closes whenever they want, phones shut off at 5 when theyre there til 6, medications take weeks to process, they will cancel your appointments time and time again.

DO NOT GO HERE! I brought my dog in for allergies and a wound from scratching too hard. In addition to the medication for the allergies/wound, the doctor proceeded to add on more without fully explaining what will be done and the charges. When trying to explain (I still paid), he became COMBATIVE, told me not to come back, blamed his personal issues, and threatened me! I was peacefully inquiring about what I paid for and he took offense to this. I have been going to the place for 3 years and loved it until today. I will not be returning unfortunately.
P.S. The ladies at the front desk were supportive and understood my concerns.

The office should be closed. Do not take your pets there. Pure incompetence and attitudes to match. I was there with someone who was rehoming a kitten to me, as a check up before I brought her home. She had congestion and an eye issue that was pretty obvious. The vet said she was too little to do anything besides eye drops.
They also gave her an FIV and leukemia test, as well as a general dewormer. After having her home with me for a little over a week, she was getting worse so I took her to my vet, even though I thought they couldn’t do anything, because I trusted the Rahway vet when he told me that.
Wrong wrong wrong in so many ways. She should have been given antibiotics. She should not have been given a general dewormer without a stool sample. Not to mention-the FIV and leukemia test didn't mean anything because she was too young to even test reliably for that.
When my vet called their office to get the details of her visit, they had record of the FIV/FL test, but never recorded the results (they told us it was negative, even though the test meant nothing, as mentioned). They also had no record of the dewormer even though I watched them give it to her. My vet said never go back there (wouldn’t have anyways), and my vet had to start from scratch.
Additionally, the tech dropped my (then) 5 week old kitten and tried to claim she jumped out of her arms. This cat was so young and small, she could barely walk steadily yet, and you’re claiming she had enough strength to jump out and you couldn’t hold on to her? Not to mention the actual vet only poked his head in the room and then left and they took the kitten out of the room so that he could check her. Barely even spoke to me and seemed annoyed when I tried to ask questions in the 20 seconds he was actually in my sight.
Beyond rude, beyond irresponsible, complete disgraces. They should be ashamed of themselves and no one should ever trust their pets with them.

I know it was late but I tried calling at 5:08pm and receptionist answered and put me on hold for 11 mins. So I tried calling again at 5:19pm and message said they were closed. So bad, so annoying. I read reviews and most bad reviews from receptionist. If these people are not concerned about people, think about your pets.

My go to vet for the last 7 years. Only good experiences with this doctor and office. During the passing of our beloved Maltese the office staff and Dr. Shukla was very sympathetic towards me and my wife's emotional state. We greatly appreciated them for that.

Dr. Shukla is very nice and does very thorough check up for my pet. The reason for giving three star is because of the front desk staff who is not at all patient/customer friendly and are non responsive to calls and queries at times. They make mistakes when billing and if not checked , you may end up paying more. A lot can improve in overall experience if the front desk can be like Dr. Shukla in keeping pet/patient first approach.

They lost all my pet records when they switched to the veterinarian and I still can't find them and they have no answers and they had the nerve to recharge me like she was a new patient.
