Terrible exterior painting job done 3 years ago, and very expensive!! - starting to peel after a year, and now my house looks dilapidated and need new paining all over again.

I have been meaning to write this for some time. We hired Julius Gross to paint our home in June of 2013, we had just moved here. He was very expensive, but we saw his signs on beautiful homes in the area so we decided to proceed. Here were the issues: 1) His team cut corners- in some rooms only 1 coat of paint was used and the prior color is now showing through 2) The paint immediately started cracking on some of the walls as well as where the wall meets the ceiling 3) In rooms that had wall paper - he did not remove the wall paper- he painted over it!!! Called this company for an estimate for work done in home just north of Princeton. Set date/time for estimate, I emailed address, name of development and basic directions. Day of estimate painter calls me lost...needs directions again. Short story is we had 3 phone conversations ending with him giving up because he couldn't figure out how to get there. He finally told me I needed to come get him where he was, or he was going home. So he went home. Never came to the house.Needless to say, if that's what happens when trying to get an estimate, I didn't want to see what would be like on the job. Meanwhile, 2 other painters both found the home the same week... read full review
