“NJ Kitchens and Baths just completed a full renovation of the 1980's kitchen in my 1947 cape cod style house. From the start, their professionalism showed through. Everything was clear, friendly, and up front. They listened to what we wanted, offered very helpful recommendations and suggestions, laid out a design plan, a schedule, explicit pricing, a clear list of what they were responsible for and what we'd be responsible for. They pulled and handled all the permits. They delivered everything, and did it ahead of schedule! When surprise issues arose (it's an old house!), they discussed options and worked with us to make sure it didn't kill our budget. The quality of the work is top notch and they were very detailed. On top of everything else, the workers were professional, and very clean. This was very important as we have two small children living in the house. “For someone wanting to hire craftsmen to remodel a bathroom for the first time, I felt a bit overwhelmed. There were lots of decisions to be made about tiling, vanities, sinks, overall design philosophy.

Fortunately, Billy, Gianna and the crew were elite at settling down my worries. We took it a step at a time and they were able to accommodate some of my limitations, such as me not being able to pickup up my bathtub, vanity and toilet with my small car. They took time to arrange a pickup on my behalf even though the project was not to start for a couple of weeks. Now that's looking after the customer!

Once the demo started, it was a very smooth process. I felt like I was briefed/consulted every step of the way and other specific experts such as the sheetrock and glass contractor got involved to put it all together. On a personal note, it made me admire even more the meticulous process of remodeling any interior room, much less a bathroom as well as the versatility and know-how necessary to tile, make the plumbing and electrical work, all while adhering to what the client wants. It's hard work and no doubt took many years and experience to get to this point of expertise. As someone who floated the idea of DIY-ing certain aspects, I can look back and know that it was 100% worth it to hire professionals that know what they're doing.
