“DEFINITELY HIRE At Home Electric LLC! I (59 yr woman) met Tom-the owner of Home Electric LLC at Lowes. Unsolicited, Tom got my attention by asking me if he could help me find something. When I turned I was surprised it was not the Lowes associate. Tom started informing me of the best products and what would be best for me to use. After talking I asked Tom his name and what he does for a living. He told me he is an electrician. I NEEDED HIM! I asked Tom if he could help me with some complicated electrical issues I was having at my house. FYI: THIS WAS ALL TOTALLY PLATONIC FROM BEGINNING TO END. Anyway, Tom said yes, and knowing I was in a stressful situation Tom gave me a ridiculous bargain estimate as he was really just trying to be helpful to a complete stranger (me). Tom told me the day and time he would come to my house the following week and on that same day he arrived at the exact time he scheduled and stayed with the cost of the estimate which was SOOOO GOOD! Tom is such a kind and gentle man. Tom is really one of the few naturally good people in the world. Tom is very respectful, and caring. He was so selfless offering his advise at Lowes, willingness to help me, coming when he said he would, giving me a break on cost and not trying to take me over as SOO many of the contractor DO. Tom is reliable and DEFINITELY a wonderful person and professional. Tom cares as much about the person he is helping as he does about the work he is doing. I am so grateful to have met Tom and received the blessings of his service. Thank you Tom!PS. Tom is very strong and climbs up to the top of ladders balancing with absolutely no problem. “The first job we used Illuminate Electric for was to upgrade our entire electrical panel with a new panel. Sean Cornely was very diligent and efficient. He communicated the process to us very clearly so we knew just what to expect and what the timing would be, and things went very smoothly and according to plan. We then had Sean back to add some recessed lights in our kitchen and family room, an exhaust fan in the bathroom, plus a few other small things. His was so neat, you would never know that work was done in those rooms. Previously we'd had lights added in another room using someone else, and there was drywall dust on and in everything! Sean used a special attachment on his drill that captured all of the dust - what a difference! He also worked hard to pull wires between the new lights so that he wouldn't have to make additional holes in our ceiling - he told us he wasn't sure with the 2x4s up there that that would be possible, but sure enough he didit, no extra holes so no patching or painting required! Sean was professional, informative, neat, and trustworthy. His pricing was fair and he was very reliable, and for these reasons we would highly recommend him.“

They showed up on time (which is so rare!), were able to troubleshoot every tricky situation we threw at them (which we're a lot in our 100yr old House), and even solved problems more efficiently than we anticipated.Al got our heater working, installed new Indoor and Outdoor outlets, fixed and installed a new bathroom exhaust fan, replaced knob and tube wiring with new wiring to fix several lights and installed Front and Back Porch lights, rerouted our cable line and installed a new outlet by Out fireplace mantle, rewired and installed new lighting in our attic...and more. A Ton of Work and it was done in two days.Beyond doing great work, I appreciated Al's recommendations for how projects could be tackled and optional work that could be added more efficiently. Recommendations we're never strong-armed, but rather very mindful and ended up saving me from future regret.“
