Yesterday was our final visit to the funeral home to gather my daughter Qwene’s final business there. While my spirit was clam knowing Qwene’ is at peace and with the lord now. The items presented to me by Retha Rose Arnold, the owner of Scillieri-Arnold Funeral Home left us speechless. :: She gifted us a 4-ft lenticular 3D poster w/a Gucci background containing a photo of my daughter that I took of her while we were out celebrating her bday on June 6th. It’s spectacular to see in person. :: She also gifted us with a box that I thought was a photo of her but once opened it was a movie … staring my daughter with heart captivating music serenading as photos of her, her children, us, my son and all our family/friends played in segments. The intro to the movie is the beautiful roses designed and arranged by Joe Henley, even the ones he designed in the shape of handbags. We couldn’t stop crying while watching it. I literally have never seen anything like either item. :: She presented us with bag complete with everything else associate with my daughters service including extra obituaries [which were high end qualify, elegant & colorful], funeral cards, thank you cards, Tshirts, 7 death certificates and so much more. She literally left no stone unturned Nd no work for us to do. :: The entire process from the beginnjng when she appeared at my doorsteps to end was white glove service! :: The way my baby looked in that casket was unbelievable! She literally looked like she went to sleep waiting for a knight in shining armour. Retha ensured every detail was immaculate, down to her skin! :: Retha even had her staff match the family’s color theme for the sercide. My family and I were so impressed and extremely pleased. :: Professional❣️Classy❣️ Elegant ❣️ Organized❣️ Unique❣️ are just a few words that come to mind as I gather my thoughts about my total experience with Retha Rose Arnold and staff at Scillieri-Arnold Funeral Home. :: Death is a forbidden topic in most circles but we all know that’s the one door we must all walk through. It’s a peace of mind knowing that when that comes, there’s a provider out there that will hold your had and guide you through it all with the upmost respect professionalism & elegance. I will share something I’ll never forget … When Retha came to our home for the 1st time to get the process started we went over things and there were papers to sign. Once we had to sign the paper to release the body I lost it and screamed to the top of my lungs. Retha kept her composure and allowed my moment to happened. Then she got up, walked over to me and whispered this in my ear … “Eartha, Qwene’ is the star of the show and you’re the executive producer. Now let’s go, you have a show to run!” And a show we did ❤️
