My aunt passed suddenly. We found Manke as a result of a Google search. Because none of us lived in Patterson, we only had what information. We could gather over the phone. I called several funeral homes in the area before calling Manke. We spoke to John at Manke and that was it for me. John was clear and informative. He was not selling me something, but rather providing us assistance. There was no pressure to buy. Each time we spoke, he referred to my aunt by name and not “the body” or “the remains”. The facility was warm and inviting. Overall. We were very thankful and pleased with the service we received.

Manke Memorial was the only bright star in a very dark period of my life. John Manke coordinated the transportation of my beloved mother from Florida to New Jersey, during a hurricane, with poise and professionalism. My entire family and friends were relieved that my mother was well cared for. The open casket viewing was exactly what she would have wanted, down to the last detail. When grief overcomes you, it is so difficult to think clearly. John Manke laid out all the options in a caring yet cost efficient manner. Beyond pleased with Manke Memorial.

In such a sorrowful time, as any loss of a loved one is, Manke Memorial was a tremendous help, especially, John. He took on my family’s delicate case without hesitation and went above and beyond to help us. His professionalism and sincere respect and compassion towards my family gave us hope and comfort when we couldn’t find that in other funeral homes. From handling communication with the hospital to reserving everything with the cemetery, my family and I were able to grief peacefully knowing my departed baby sibling was in exceptional care.
