During the storm, I went to the Met South lower garage as instructed by the building email to park safely. The security guard, Belal Merza (from Planned Security Company), was rude and dismissive, repeatedly interrupted me, and insisted the garage was full even though there were available spaces. He also told me the open spots were “reserved for my clients,” which was inappropriate since I was following building instructions as a resident. Even after I left, he continued making comments and complaining about me to another guard. Very disappointing experience, and this should be addressed by management. I hear a lot of companies pontificate about their core values, but very few live them so visibly that no justification is necessary, and Planned is definitely one of those companies.
I've worked extensively with their Sales and Operations team, and the caliber of leadership and true dedication to service is at the top of their class in this industry. I highlight so many things, but the one that has always impressed me the most is how responsive their team is - both reactively when a client or partner needs something, as well as proactively in their ability to prepare/see around corners for the tenants and buildings they serve.
At Ironstate we have been working with Planned for quite a while and we are excited to continue well into the future. Joe and his team are great and we would recommend them to anyone!
