When the store is running on all cylinders, it is a great store. However, staffing shortages, moat importantly the lack of an eye doctor was not physically present has led to virtual eye exams where a remote doctor and staff facilitate the exam. After complaining on a social media post back in September orporate passed along my issues with the store and Carly soon reached out to try and smooth things over. While her efforts were appreciated. Found myself scheduling an exam for myself a few weeks before the year ends to cash in my vision benefits. 9/13/25 - I'm going to update the review I submitted below. Went from 5 stars to 1 star.
Upon just returning from the Parsippany store a very lightly used pair of my progressives had a scratch on the lens (my fault). I simply asked for the price to replace the lens. Frames are still basically brand new. They looked up my account and mandated I get a exam that would cost me $69. Again repeated I want to replace the lenses only. Same exact lens. Wouldn't budge. Obviously the one girl is a receptionist, the other refused to fill my simple request. Too bad the gentleman (Benjamin) wasn't there to school her in customer service. I was at the Parsippany NJ store last evening and my experience was great. My sales associate assisting me with my eye glass purchase was Riya and she was awesome. I had picked out many eyeglasses which were not quite right for me and Riya helped me pick out the perfect pairs. I went in for two eyeglasses and wound up purchasing 4. Riya was not only pleasant to work with but also spot on, professional and proficient. Not something you always find in retail.
