I must say. I never write reviews, but this has been a terrible experience. From day 1, the person that came to give a quote yessed me with all my questions. Swore all I would have to do was sit back and relax. He told me they would take care of everything from removing the door bell to reinstalling it. Wrong! After the initial contract was signed, a few addendums were sent my way to sign. I had to remove the doorbell, I had to reinstall it. But don't worry. Pella was able to drill the hole for the wires. Next, Pella told me what door hardware to get, size and all. So I got exactly what they said to get. Guess what? When the installer tried installing it. He said it didn't fit and that I didn't get the correct size. I said I got exactly what Pella told me to get. So as they were doing the install, I had to run to the store and scramble to buy something that would fit, even though it's not what I really wanted. Then after the install, I notice small gap at the bottom of the doors. So I contacted them, I had to wait a month for the first available appointment. So I scheduled and waited, then the day of the appointment, I get notified in the last 30 minutes of my time window that the tech won't make it on time, but he'll be there later in the afternoon, hours after the time window they gave. So I had to reschedule bc I already took the morning off work. Then I had to wait for another month so they can come out. When I asked for sooner they blamed me and said that I rescheduled the appointment, bc they were going to be hours late. They came and the tech did nothing. So I contacted immediately and they tried to make me wait another month for another appointment. After long discussions, and them finally understanding what my issue was, they sent the tech out the following day. I even sent them a picture, and their response was that tiny gap? I said the doors are supposed to be 100% sealed. If I can see daylight, they're not sealed!!! Did he fix the gap? I guess you could say that. All he did, was literally put a small piece of foam(maybe weather stripping if I'm lucky) at the bottom of the door so the gap would not be visible. See below picture. All I have to say is spending this much money on this type of service is ridiculous. I could've gone and bought some weather stripping and done it myself, and do a much better job to fix the gap. But after all, spending so much money. There shouldn't have even been a gap. Terrible customer service. Next time I'd spend my money some where else and know the job gets done the right way.

Excellent experience in discussing, designing and selecting our new door with Design Consultant Saul Handelsman, from Pella.
Our in-home consultation was thorough, organized, and comfortable. A true professional and pleasure to work with.
My wife and I highly recommend Saul, Pella, and this overall process if you’re interested in new doors and/or windows for your home.

Pella = Horrible quality and customer service. After posting this review 3 weeks ago, Pella replied this canned post - “sorry you weren’t satisfied, we will reach out to you in 3-5 days to follow-up on the issue” post. Despite following up a few times, still no reply. Pella quality and customer support is horrible.
Original post We used Pella replacement windows on our house in 2005. 15 yrs in we started having air leaks and moisture condensation problems on 5 of the 15 windows. Pellas customer support was horrible and they did not honor their warranty. Now the sill has rotted away and they do not offer replacement sashes. A basic vinyl window would have lasted longer.

Our experience with Pella Windows and Doors was excellent from start to finish. We started at the Paramus showroom and received very useful information about the choices we had available. We then had a home visit with Saul, who helped us make the decisions on the many different windows and doors we were going to replace. Saul was also available for additional questions we had during the process and checked out the finished project. Then we had the best experience when Paul's team came to install all the different windows and doors. Their excellent workmanship as well as terrific concern for keeping the mess contained was greatly appreciated. And on top of everything, their consideration to answer questions and do the extra work to make us happy was fantastic. Our home has had a transformation, thanks to the good works of the Pella staff. Thank you.

We replaced a 24 yr. old Pella sliding door with a new one. Andrew came to the house and laid out all of our options. Delivery and installation were within a month. The installation crew was very professional and courteous. They completely cleaned everything when the job the finished. Andrew came to see that the completed job was to our satisfaction. I highly recommend Paramus Pella.

Lexi was extremely professional and knowledgeable. It made getting our windows and doors easy and worry-free. I will definitely buy Pella again, especially if Lexi is the sales rep. The confirmations were made by Dan who again was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Pella is the best!
