The person who answered the phone was very curt and unfriendly. She was very annoyed by my questions. You’d think customer service means they’re there to provide answers to customers’ naive questions, who are not experts in the eyeglasses field. She definitely didn’t want to be there. At least she took my number, hence the 3 stars, let’s see if I get a call back

My first experience with Paramus Optical Boutique was around 2013. A little pricey I thought but a very positive experience. The optician, Irene Sisco, is the consummate professional. In 2015 I needed to get both sunglasses and regular glasses and, concerned about the cost, I went to Pearl Vision instead. What a mistake. Apparently my Rx was filled correctly, but the measurements were wrong. After Pearl Vision denied that anything was wrong I went back to Paramus OB (it is part of my ophthalmologist's practice) and Irene re-measured me and pointed out the errors. This time Pearl Vision agreed when I went back and they fixed them. In 2017, again needed both sunglasses and regular glasses and decided to use POB. Everything was perfect. I guess you get what you pay for, and I get that it's hard to pay for quality, but when it's your eyes...
