We were looking for a Capoeira place after my wife had done it years ago. We immediately fell welcomed and practice on a weekly basis . This group has an awesome spirit and our professor ( Carcaju) is really passionate and love to teach this art . Capoeira is a fun sport and this is a great place to do it for any age ( my wife and I are 57 and 69, but there are also 8 and 9 years old children and everyone practices, play and improve their skills together in a great empowering atmosphere. Highly recommend it, please join us you will not regret it.

Glad that I found this group when searching out options for Capoeira in Bergen County. I am able to train with my son and learn the moves, history and music of Capoeira. Prof. Carcaju is an excellent teacher who is able to push us both to improve with every class. I look forward to both of us continuing to refine our game under his tutelage.

A more enthusiastic, dedicated instructor is hard to find. He takes his art seriously, while still making the classes enjoyable. If you’re thinking of a capoeira school in Bergen county, I highly recommend guerreiros!
