Glad that I found this group when searching out options for Capoeira in Bergen County. I am able to train with my son and learn the moves, history and music of Capoeira. Prof. Carcaju is an excellent teacher who is able to push us both to improve with every class. I look forward to both of us continuing to refine our game under his tutelage.

A more enthusiastic, dedicated instructor is hard to find. He takes his art seriously, while still making the classes enjoyable. If you’re thinking of a capoeira school in Bergen county, I highly recommend guerreiros!

Professor Carcaju gives a great class. Strikes a nice balance between teaching capoeira moves, body conditioning and sharing his knowledge of capoeira history. The mix of students, teenagers and adults makes the class a lot of fun
