Updating review... my stylist moved to a place in ridgefield called suki & Judy hair salon. They were the original owners of suki.

Good hair cut but the guy made a misogynistic remark about girls needing to keep their hair pretty after he couldn't upsell his 300$ magic perm treatment after his build up of trying to make the customer insecure about their hair, talking about how it was too curly and dry to live with. He proceeded to put no treatment on before adding direct heat to the hair after a cut to style it.
And I blame the owners for not guiding the employees to be more gentle with hair washing, lost the back piece to a piercing that was healing and had to get it replaced.
Won't be going back

Suki's new management is a welcome change! I've been going to Shinzy, my favorite stylist, for over 10 years now and she's simply the best. Shinzy always does an amazing job with my hair and I always leave feeling refreshed and confident. In fact, I've recommended her to all my family and friends, and they've all become regulars as well. Had a wonderful time getting my hair done and getting to know my stylist Jessica. When I booked they said only a junior stylist would be available which made me curious as to how the experience would go. I get my hair done once a week at the salon, and I don’t believe junior stylist is the right title for such a professional and capable stylist. I am very impressed with Jessica’s knowledge of curly and textured hair, and she treated me with care and respect throughout the appointment. She explained each product she was using, took her time to understand what I wanted, and delivered beautifully. She also explained to me the other services provided, the history of Sukis, how the female owner girl bossed her way into creating this outstanding salon, and how their mission was to create an unforgettable experience with accommodations for all types of hair, even for hijabi women. I was shocked by the price of the wash and style and believe that Sukis deserves to charge more for the quality of service and beautiful setting/atmosphere they provide. I would rate my experience a 12/10 and encourage anyone to come give Sukis a try!

I was worried because it was my first time receiving magic in the US, but after getting my haircut from Dr. Shinji a few months ago, I gained a lot of trust, so I decided to get volume magic, even though it cost a lot of money.
As expected, my intuition was correct! And numerous Google reviews vouched for Sam’s skills!!
From start to finish, Shinjisam personally meticulously handles everything from application of medicine, neutralization, and even hair removal. There are many cases where I burn my hair when I go to a place where I am not good at it, but even though I did not go to a special clinic, I am so happy that my hair is shiny and shiny because they used good medicine.
Everyone hesitates when they get the magic straightener because it feels like it's sticking to their hair, but can't you see in the photo that it really adds volume to the roots? :)

And my intuition was right! Shinzy carefully handled everything herself, from applying the product to neutralizing and straightening my hair. At places where they're not skilled, they often burn my hair, but Shinzy used such good products that my hair feels silky and shiny, even without any special treatment.

Most people hesitate to get Japanese magic straightening because it can make your hair stick flat to your head, but she did an amazing job of keeping the volume at the roots, as you can see in the photos.

I went to work for the first time with my new hair today, and everyone was full of compliments, asking if I had a special treatment because my hair looked so shiny. ✨
