Not long after moving in, I was looking for a hair salon and found this one, and I'm really satisfied. I don't often write reviews, but I'm always impressed by Rachel's excellent skills and attentive service. Come and get your hair cut.

I had trouble finding a good hair salon for quite a while, but I like this place!My hair is easy to style after coming from a haircut here. All the staff I met were very friendly and skilled, while not being too chatty or asking too many questions. They were very accommodating to my needs and concerns.I also liked getting tips on how to take care of and style my hair based on my hair type (I have thin, oily hair, but the person next to me last time had thick and dry hair and they were giving her good tips too)The prices are also reasonable. Wanting to try something different with my short hair, I came here to get a digital perm. After doing tons of research on "men's perms" and which place had good reviews, I decided on Kim Sun Young Hair Salon. I was very nervous because I didn't speak Korean, but it turned out to not be an issue at all! Jenny is fantastic! I showed her a few ideas and she told me what was realistic with my hair. She explained each step during the process and made me feel comfortable the entire time. The staff are super nice; great atmosphere and experience. $150 for perm AND haircut (can't beat that price!).
