I think I found my go-to hair salon. My inspo pic was definitely not easy, but Hannah took the time to explain every step, what was realistic & what we needed to do to get as close as possible. I got a haircut, straightening & C-curl & she constantly checked in w/ me throughout the process. She also went the extra mile to make sure my hair stayed healthy and undamaged.
It’s been 3 weeks since my appt & this photo honestly does not do it justice. I barely combed my hair, only blow-dried it & somehow it still looks so beautiful that I keep staring at it like it pays rent.

Where do I even begin with Amitie?

For some background - I have some of the most stubborn, coarse, thick, wavy hair you’ve ever seen. Very difficult to manage. I came to Amitie for Japanese straightening and tried my luck also asking for some curled ends.

The staff was so welcoming and so accommodating. They were also very honest in telling me curling might not be possible for my type of hair. I am okay with this, I know my hair is always impossible lol.

My stylist was Hannah and after working on my hair for a little while, they let me know they’re willing to try to curl my ends.

Recommended by a friend, I went to this salon for the first time to get a haircut today. The place is clean and spacious. Everyone was friendly. My stylist, Nicky, was awesome! He has great skills and pays close attention to detail. I am very happy with the outcome — a nice haircut at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!
