“Last weekend, my son performed in his first "Big Gig" with Lakehouse Music Academy (6/19/21). As a fellow musician, I also had a gig that night so we were in full music mode. Having just finished his first session with a new band, I was blown away by their set. it was tight, creative and full of energy. And, while the kids were all smiling ear to ear the entire set, so was their instructor, Kay, who was possibly having an even greater time than they were playing with them. Lakehouse has been 10/10 stars since the moment my son and I went there for a tour. After an in-depth discussion between my son and Ben Marino, Ben was 100% certain he knew where to place him. I certainly didn't doubt him, but he was spot on. My son instantly took to the band and the set list that was already in motion. That says a lot about how professionally run this program (and the school) is. In addition to performing, my son has a weekly vocal lesson with a fantastic instructor. The benefits of these lessons (only a couple of months in) were instantly seen at the show as well. I can't say enough how enthusiastic I am about the program, other than to say my son is even more so than I am (which is how it should be). If you are contemplating getting involved with Lakehouse, you've probably already waited too long. Just like we did. My son only wishes he got involved sooner and he talks about it everyday. Couldn't be happier.“
