Reviews
My son takes piano lessons with Jim at the School of Music and Drama, and he has grown so much as a musician since he started. Last year, he expressed an interest in learning improvisational jazz, and Jim was completely supportive and excited to help him explore it!
What really stands out to me about this school is Jim’s willingness to let students pursue the music that genuinely interests them. This is especially evident during the recitals, where you’ll hear an incredible variety of instruments, singing, and musical styles. Encouraging kids to explore and study what they truly enjoy produces wonderful results. We’ve had such a positive experience!
My daughter has been taking voice lessons with Jim for over a year and we’ve had a great experience. He’s patient, knowledgeable, and creates a really comfortable environment for his students. He also does a great job exposing them to different styles of music, which has helped build both skill and confidence. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a supportive and talented music teacher.
