I was extremely hesitant to go for acupuncture for the pain in my knee from a meniscus tear. Thanks to my daughter and son for encouraging me to do so, for they both have used it with successful turnouts. It's been very helpful to me with the pain in my knee. The overall experience is very relaxing. The minute I walk in the door, I'm relaxed. The needles are not as bad as you may think and they surprisingly are very helpful in releasing stress and pain. I'm glad I decided to go to Zen Den and acupuncturist Ruthann Russo is great. She goes out of her way to make me relax and she is very educated in the field of acupuncture. Don't be hesitant. Dr. Russo is an amazing acupuncturist! Cant’t recommend highly enough. She is a skilled technician and has a great understanding of the philosophy and practice of acupuncture. She shares this knowledge during her sessions and creates a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
