I suffered a severe soft tissue leg injury while surfing which apparently caused plantar fasciitis. My podiatrist treated me with anti-inflammatory drugs, prednisone and a cortisone shot and nothing improved the condition. I was limping for three months with no improvement. The podiatrist actually recommended acupuncture. I began treatments with Dr. Balko and after 8 sessions my foot feels just about healed and I can walk normally. I highly recommend Dr. Balko.

Thanks to Dr. Rob Balko, Director of Atlantic Acupuncture in Neptune, NJ, my eyes have been opened wide to an understanding of the science and many many medical benefits of acupuncture. My first visit to the Atlantic Center for Acupuncture was one for stress treatment. It was at this peaceful, calm, welcoming place that, after 30 minutes, I am now on day three of a calm spirit for the first time since before COVID. Right now today as a business owner working on Sunday because a team member resigned, I should be stressed. I'm not. I'm getting it done. I have been going to The Atlantic Center for roughly four years and appreciate the acupuncture treatment I receive from Rob Balko. He is knowledgeable and he pays attention to any health issues I am having and treats me accordingly.
