The Humane Society of Ocean City in Ocean City, NJ, is a community-supported, full-service pet adoption and veterinary center. Visitors will find a wide selection of cats and dogs available for adoption, including some that have been at the shelter since before COVID-19. The staff is known for being friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, providing answers to any questions potential adopters may have. An on-site veterinary center is an added bonus, as it allows pets to establish a relationship with a veterinarian before going home, potentially making future visits less stressful. The veterinarians, Dr. Julie and Dr. Bob, are praised for their excellent care, kindness, and thoroughness in addressing pet health concerns. The entire staff at the Humane Society is highly regarded for their top-notch expertise and exceptional customer service.
MY favorite Vet. Dr. Moberg is so attentive to my dog's needs. Always taking time to answer questions even when the office is busy. We have used several vets over the years and by far have been showed the most compassion and have been provided with excellent clinical care here. Thank you and thank you office staff who are always sweet to our animals and kind to us. IT does not go unnoticed.
We visited to drop off some donations. The place is small but they are dedicated to helping animals. The workers knew every cat by name and told us about their personalities.
They also have a great Facebook page highlighting animals each week. They were welcoming to us..Although we did not adopt an animal at this time we will definitely continue to support the shelter.
I took our kitten to be spayed & was very pleased with their professionalism and organization. I understand they are a no-kill shelter, and that puts them at the top of my, “extra effort good guys” list.
Scout is now fully recovered, and I am grateful that organizations like HSOC offer such reasonably priced veterinarian services.
