About Paradise Nails
Paradise Nails is a nail salon that offers a variety of services, including gel manicures, pedicures, and waxing. Customers appreciate the detailed and professional work on men's pedicures, with staff paying close attention to detail and ensuring a good experience. The environment can be friendly, and the owner is described as nice. However, experiences with manicures vary: some clients found the staff pleasant and had excellent results, while others felt rushed or encountered issues with hygiene and service quality. One customer noted that the files used during their manicure appeared to have been reused, and the nails were not fully painted to the tips, resulting in a dull and chipped look shortly after the service. Pricing can be confusing, as online prices sometimes differ from what is charged in person, leading to unexpected costs. Overall, while the staff's professionalism and skill on certain services are praised, some clients recommend updating prices online and improving hygiene standards for a better experience.
Prices need to be updated online and when booking. I paid more than what I expected, they have different price upfront. Online Gel Manicure is $35 I paid $40, Gel Pedicure $35 I paid $55, then underarms waxing online is $18 I paid $20. The girl that did my pedicure was very detailed, pleasant and I had an excellent experience with her I was happy. When I moved on to do my manicure the girl who did it seems to be very unpleasant, and like she's rushing to do my nails, not a good experience with the girl who did my manicure.
If you're looking for a nail salon that excels in men's pedicures, this place is fantastic! They did an amazing job on my husband's pedicure. The staff is professional and detail-oriented, making sure every aspect of the service is perfect. Highly recommended!
UPDATE*** It's been 6 days and my nails are already chipping at the top where the gel polish didn't cover. Gel typically lasts me at least two weeks from other places. I work an office job so not really doing much with my hands that would have caused this ---------------------------- I thought this place was just average. The staff was friendly, the gentleman that runs the place was so nice. But I didn't find it that hygienic. All of the files that were used on me were clearly already used in other people. Also after filing my nails they didn't wipe off the nail filings from my hands so she did the entire manicure with my hands covered in nail filings. They did not paint my nails all the way to the tips of my fingers so you can see the whites at the top. Will have to file that down otherwise it just looks like it's already chipping and I just got them done today. They also aren't shiny and look kind of dull. I'm also pretty sure they ripped me off. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. I had a gift certificate for a regular manicure and pedicure, and I asked if I can pay the difference and i still owed $30. On their Facebook page it says a gel manicure is $35 and a regular manicure is $15. Even if they raised their prices, a $30 difference seems like a lot.
