I’m 38, and I’ve had ultra-sensitive skin for as long as I can remember. Over the years I’ve cycled through dermatologists, “skin experts,” and even holistic healers, trying to get my skin to cooperate through different seasons, stress levels, products, and flare-ups. If you’ve lived with reactive skin, you know what I’m talking about - we are constantly bracing for the next reaction and second-guessing everything we put on our face.

That’s why my experience with Mandy at Art of Beauty Spa genuinely changed how I approach skin care.

It took one visit for my skin to feel like it finally got the message that it’s safe to heal. Mandy didn’t rush, didn’t push products, and didn’t make vague promises. She was calm, precise, and deeply knowledgeable - the kind of person who can look at your skin and deeply understand what’s happening, then explain it in a way that changes how you think about skincare altogether. She helped me reset not just my routine, but my mindset around self-care: less panic, less overcorrecting, more consistency and trust and love for oneself.

My skin is now the clearest it’s been in a very long time and I don’t say that lightly. Choosing to trust Mandy was the best decision I’ve made for my skin. If you’ve been bouncing from appointment to appointment, feeling frustrated and unsure who and what to believe in a world of overconsumption and promises of overnight cures - I can’t recommend Mandy enough. I’ve been getting Biologique Recherche facials for years, so I’m very familiar with the level of expertise they usually come with but Mandy truly far exceeded that. She told me things about my skin that not even dermatologists have mentioned, and everything she said made perfect sense. Her approach is so precise, and thorough, from the way she cleans the skin to the customized treatments she selects. You can tell she genuinely understands skin on a deeper level and cares about creating real, visible results. My skin looked and felt incredible afterward.

Mandy is the most incredible esthetician I have ever been to!!! She is beyond knowledgable about skin and the products that she uses and she makes sure to explain exactly what she sees on your skin, the products she is using, and why/how they work. I came to Mandy with breakouts, clogged pores, and a damaged skin barrier and in just a few visits, my skin is smooth and glowing and gorgeous!!!!
