My family has used their services on serval occasions and most recently a friend was also funeralized through them. They are attentive, caring, professional, and you don't feel like just another family they are serving. The absolutely professional, patient, and loving manner in which the staff at J E Churchman, Jr. Funeral Home, cared for our family member, was nothing short of "Amazing!" During our most difficult days of grieving our loved one, Simone helped us get all of the necessary documents signed, and made all of the arrangements in such a short period of time. Thank you, Simone, Brandon and J E Churchman, Jr., family, for doing a beautiful job of helping our large family and many friends, to find closure and some comfort, by transporting his body to the beautiful(graveside) Memorial Service at the peaceful and serene Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ. I can't say enough good things about Churchman! Efficient, flexible, and professional family-owned funeral home with first class service. The staff are all very kind, patient and thoughtful. They do absolutely magnificent work on face, dress and hair; your loved one will look just like their regular self. Churchman is undoubtedly unmatched in the city of Newark and even beyond.
