I had a great experience at this salon over the weekend. It’s been many years since I visited a “doobie shop”, I was referred this location by a friend and I was not disappointed. I was greeted at the door in “English” the receptionist was so accommodating. My phone battery died and she gave me a charger. Mary washed and blew out my hair in a timely manner. She was very knowledgeable even with my long extensions. I’m glad I found my in between salon for those amazing blow outs. Highly recommend this salon as it’s hard to find a good one. I’ll definitely be back.

My spouse said she asked the guy for a receipt for her hairdo. He did not want ro give her a receipt. That is a bit suspicious! Other salons provide their customers with a receipt if they want proof they paid. Are rhey hiding for tax purposes from the IRS? They could be in trouble if reported. They need to provide a receipt if a customer asks for it, as proof of payment; even if they receive cash for services rendered.

My niece went here and the entire left side of her hair is DAMAGED!
She never had any issues with her hair until she started coming here. Your hair WON'T GROW, their heat settings are wayyyy too high. While burning your scalp and ears is the norm here! Excessive heat isn't key to a nice style! I've also heard from other around town they put perm in their shampoo to get better results for their dubies especially if you're between touch-up's.
They also talk crap about their clients!
The prices ALWAYS change regardless if you get the same exact service just a few weeks apart.
This salon was once the spot to go to but over time has gotten to laxed with doing whatever. My Niece definitely won't be coming back!
Best place to go if you want damaged hair! Smh do better!

I love Jasmin's! I don't go as much as I use to because I'm natural now, but when I do go they never disappoint. I highly recommend this place if your looking for great haircare service.

I had a 12 pm appointment today for a wash, deep conditioner, and single braid ponytail. I got there 30 minutes early just to finally be taken care of at 1 pm... a whole hour later. (Jasmin's excuse is that Fridays are busy and it's only two girls... Then book appropriately or hire more staff. If I schedule an appointment a week in advance for a certain time, I should be taken care of at that time, 10 mins later MAX). Everything went smoothly until they had to silk press my hair before braiding, which was fine. Jasmine had some other lady silk press it and she kept burning my scalp! It was the only time I have ever teared up in a salon chair. She didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was uncomfortable and in pain. Then Jasmin finally took over. I have highlighted hair so it's a mix of brown and a little blonde. Because of this, I wanted my braid to reflect that, so I bought a pack of brown braiding hair and a back of blonde braiding her. I told her how I wanted it to be mixed so it looks like my hair. She said she understood but then when I saw the final result it was a chunky highlighted mess. The blonde was barely mixed with the brown.... Not to mention that she added so many bobby pins in my hair (I literally counted 14...) that made the car ride home uncomfortable. I tried to fix the highlights but the way she had the braiding hair placed in I had no choice but to take out the entire thing and start from scratch. I can confidently say that this was the worst hair salon experience of my life and that you will not see me or my money again.
