They had to replace about 40 boards which did increase the cost, but I saw the boards they ripped out and I'm happy to have new boards underneath our new Charcoal shingled roof. We had 6 inch gutters done the next day. I especially appreciated Steve coming out the day after to personally replace a gutter downspout which I did not feel was properly installed.
