I suffered a severe soft tissue leg injury while surfing which apparently caused plantar fasciitis. My podiatrist treated me with anti-inflammatory drugs, prednisone and a cortisone shot and nothing improved the condition. I was limping for three months with no improvement. The podiatrist actually recommended acupuncture. I began treatments with Dr. Balko and after 8 sessions my foot feels just about healed and I can walk normally. I highly recommend Dr. Balko.

Thanks to Dr. Rob Balko, Director of Atlantic Acupuncture in Neptune, NJ, my eyes have been opened wide to an understanding of the science and many many medical benefits of acupuncture. My first visit to the Atlantic Center for Acupuncture was one for stress treatment. It was at this peaceful, calm, welcoming place that, after 30 minutes, I am now on day three of a calm spirit for the first time since before COVID. Right now today as a business owner working on Sunday because a team member resigned, I should be stressed. I'm not. I'm getting it done. My first experience was for treating Chronic Sinusitis. He used AAT (Advanced Allergy Therapeutics). It only took 2 sessions and 8 years later I'm still symptom free. I highly recommend AAT and acupuncture services with The Atlantic Center. I went during pregnancy and acupuncture put a stopper in my morning sickness. I couldn't have gotten through that first trimester without Rob! I can't imagine going anywhere else.
