“For starters, the receptionist who answered the phone and walked me through the whole process was very caring, and took her time explaining to me everything that I needed and wanted to know. I just relocated to NJ from NY, and I was very weary about taking my fur baby to a new vet. Dr. McGuigan and his staff put my mind at ease right away! The Dr. came in and immediately sat on the floor with dog, Bruiser. You could tell that he really enjoys and loves what he does for a living. I didn’t feel rushed, and he walked me through everything in a way I could understand, and we set up a plan for our next visit. Bruiser has bad anxiety, and I could tell that he felt very relaxed at this office. Bruiser and I will definitely be back! 5 stars from me, and 4 paws from Bruiser! ❤️“

“Nice staff. Large waiting area. You will have to explain your issue over and over again but I guess they’re just being thorough. Everyone was kind, considerate and sympathetic. I felt like the doctor told me everything I needed to know, answered my questions and was honest about my cat’s condition. They allowed me to have some extra time with my sweet kitty and never once rushed me along. I really appreciate that. I didn’t want to use the crematorium they work with, so I had to take him home with me (I use a crematorium in Pa). They wrapped him up and put him in a special zippered bag and brought him out to me in my car. It wasn’t anything fancy but still very nice. It made transporting him so much easier. I went for their emergency service but I could see using MLAH as a primary vet in the future.“

“Every one there was kind and caring- we unfortunately did not make it there in time during our pets emergency. They allowed us time to grieve and didn't gouge us for money with our options once we where ready to make a decision.“

“I took my dog, who was in serious condition as he had a high fever and low energy. I visited Northstar vets, and as they were not sure exactly what was wrong with my dog, I came to the Redbank host hospital. I showed all the blood reports from NorthStar and Redbank. The findings were that the dog was having multiple issues with internal bleeding, and the doctor was very hospitable about telling us that each day would cost around $8000, there were little chances of a dog's survival, and the treatment could last up to six months. They advised that the best decision is to put him down, as his liver is failing at 70% along with other organs. We liked the honesty of the hospital and not thinking pet owner and money bank. The staff also showed affection to the dog and felt the pain when we said the final good-bye. We had to make a tough decision to put him on his own, and he was chargeable.“
