American Water Resources is a wonderful company to deal with. Every time I have made a claim, the problem has been fixed within days. The representatives that speak to you over the phone take care of everything for you, including scheduling maintenance of your choice or whoever they choose. I have been a customer for at least 10 years and they have never failed me. I highly recommend American Water resources.
WVAWC confirmed a leak on my side of the water meter and shut my meter off on 4/22. I submitted a claim to American Water Resources on 4/22/2026. Blue Ridge Mountain Plumbing came after 6 pm on 4/24. They were unable to loosen the valves on the water meter, so they left. WVAWC loosened the valves on 4/25. I advised Jeff at Blue Ridge that the valve issue was resolved on 4/25. I called multiple times to see when Blue Ridge would return to fix the line leak. I finally received a phone message from Kim at Blue Ridge at 1:52 pm on 4/28 saying the earliest available date for my repair was 5/4. I had already been without water for 5 days. I am in my 70s. Not happy with what is covered and with the time waiting for someone to come fix it I told them i had 3 outlets to fix and he said only one at a time can they fix , this after waiting 2 weeks for him to come out ! Also asked if attic fan covered and they said no without even looking
