Dr Mark Popkin is a fantastic doctor. He was so patient and I really feel like my concerns were heard and treated all while he prioritized my comfort. I see a lot of doctors as someone with chronic health issues (unrelated) and he is absolutely up there with some of the best doctors I’ve seen. Making an appointment was not difficult at all and everyone was very kind and patient. A huge thank you to Dr Popkin, acne is a very sensitive issue for many, including myself, and his bedside manner was above and beyond, and he has a sense of humor on top of all of that.
Called three practices in Parsippany and tried to get an appointment for this month. Not only I was unable to get one, but the staff was not very pleasant on the phone. I could feel the eye-rolling!I was so fed up, but I felt strongly about calling Dr. Popkin's office. Reading his reviews (higher than the other doctors I called), I was certain he wouldn't have an appointment until at least 2 months from now. But I called anyway.To my surprise, the voice on the other side was FRIENDLY and CARING! What a difference from the others I spoke with! I felt that I was valued as a potential patient! Been going here forever, Doctor Popkin is fantastic. His front office though...always have an attitude and just seem to be miserable people with how they talk to you on the phone.It's hard to find a good doctor, so as long as you can tolerate the office talking to you like your piece of trash, you'll be fine. Wish i could book appointments on line so i didnt even have to speak with them.
