If I could give less than 1 star I would. I was referred to Michael Holloway from another agent. Because of this, he later told me he didn't want to spend too much time on me because he had to give the referring agent 25% of his commission so it wasn't worth his time. Wound up not getting to see properties I found or wanted to see. By the time the alarms were ringing it was too late to find another realtor. Had a limited time frame to find a place due to rental home being sold, and in that space of time, he lost me a house that I had an offer accepted on with bad advice, and managed to succeed in getting me a money pit in need of massive repairs and updating, pushing the price up beyond where I first stated I would pay. Calls needed repairs such as a new roof, rotting deck, soiled floors and carpeting, and everything else from the 80's 'cosmetic.' On the final day of attorney review, at which time I was going to cancel because the inspection report dredged up so much more than I could handle, he told me he would drop me, and not help me further if I cancelled. Shut off my emails at that very moment to let me know he was serious. In a moment of honesty, he told me privately he didn't want to grow to resent me if he had to take me too far, or work too much, because he just wasn't going to make as much money, due to that referral fee, yet wouldn't refer me to another realtor from that area.
