had an appointment today. i was originally scheduled by the office mid may and they called me the week of to say Dr. Abeles was not going to be there the day they scheduled me. I was able to get an appt just shy of a month later. Abeles did not answer all my questions during the visit, in fact mid question she left the room. She had no patience and was dismissive the whole 5 minute or less encounter. Abeles never finished looking at my skin, skipping majority of my back side and never even looked at my facial skin. I have been going there for ten years and I wasnt even given the decency of respect. Abeles was in such a rush she brushed my questions/concerns off, missed parts of the exam and left without answering the last question. Abeles used terms i was unfamiliar with and then got frustrated when I didn't understand. I have yet to experience that level of disrespect ever. Very upsetting after all these years going there. This was just a doctor trying to get a paycheck. A complete lack of regard, lack of respect and lack of compassion was shown.

My daughters and I have been going to this office for years. We always see the PA Iwona. I go there for annual skin cancer screenings and some anti aging concerns. My kids have had acne and other skin conditions treated here. We have always been very happy with the office. Everyone is very friendly. While they do sell products here, you don’t have to buy them. If you’re on a budget, just let them know and they will understand and recommend a more affordable alternative.

I don’t know the name of the Dr I saw because they didn’t introduce themselves. She was very cold and very rude to the woman who was entering my info into the computer. Her suggestions had nothing to do with why I came in (she wanted me to have a body scan for skin cancer, I had hives) and was just very put upon and dismissive. Apt ended wit her trying to sell me their skin care. I wont return.

Best dermatologist I have ever been treated by. I have been a patient of Dr. Abeles for over a decade and she treats you more like a good friend than a patient. She also has great advise regarding anti-aging treatments which have helped my skin stay looking great. I highly recommend this practice.

The rudest dermatology in Bergen county NJ. If you want to be ridiculed and treated with disrespect schedule an appointment. How their receptionists are still employed here is beyond me. RUN!!!

One of these offices where they ask you to show up 15 minutes early then take you 20 minutes late. Watched 5 other people walk in after me and get taken in to see the Dr before me. Will most likely be looking for new dermatologist

I will not go back. overpriced!! they are expensive. on top of your copay, they send you another bill. btw they ask for your credit card # before your appt, in case you dont pay ur bill.

I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone. First time patient, sat in waiting room for 30 minutes. Was never told that the doctor was running behind. Once Dr. Abeles came in the room, she was rushing. Talking so fast, I couldn't understand. We were supposed to discuss a procedure I needed to get in office. Instead, I was given an RX for Ultrasound. When I left the office, I called about an hour later to discuss setting up the appointment. The woman told me she was too busy and couldn't help me and that she would call me tomorrow. I did not receive a phone call the next day, so I called in the morning and was told nothing is written in my chart. She then told me She wouldn't book me for the procedure because if it wasn't done correctly then it's a waste of her time. She said she would get in touch with the doctor, and I would get a call at lunchtime. Never received any call from anyone. I definitely will not be returning to this office ever.

I came to Abeles with the simple request to remove my seborrheic keratosis. My past dermatologist removed them with a laser in one visit, $150. Dr Abeles said I should get her special 3 visit treatment for $1800. After the 3 treatments I still had all the brown spots. I felt like she didn't listen to me and just was in the mode of getting that $1800. I had to return a 4th time for her to freeze off the brown spots and even then she didn't do a good job.

I was told by my primary doctor that this Dermatologist took my Insurance. I called them to make an appointment and they also told me they take my insurance that is why I made the appointment. After waiting a month and taking off of work I got there and they tell me they don't take my Insurance! I did not make a scene and told them my primary dr said you did and I even called you to make an appointment! She was apologizing to me and I then said I was coming in for removals of skin tags on my face. Which I know is not covered by any insurance. Then she said ok well have a seat they will call you in. I go into the back room waiting for the dr Abeles and there was another assist with her. I asked her how much will this cost she said $400 I said "What I was told over the phone from the front desk it would cost $150 when I originally made my appointment" and I was not told from the women up front that there would be a Service charge! She said in such a RUDE tone "What did you think I do this for FREE I don't take your insurance"! Then I said the women upfront that took my appointment said you did take my Insurance that's not on me they did not do their Due diligence on checking my Insurance before making my appointment a month ago! Dr Ables turns around in a RUDE tone again and said well I will wave the $250 Service Fee and just charge for the Service $150. I really should of walked out but then she would have charge me her Service fee of $250. After I decide to let her do the service on me face Dr Ables was using this laser pen to my face and sides of my forehead she was ROUGH with my face and she had rubber gloves on and pushing the sides of the mask around my ear and pulling my HAIR to get the mask back on my face which I was pissed off as she was telling me sit up lay down she became even more disrespectful on how she spoke and treated me. While she was talking to me she was standing 4 ft away from me and kept asking me if I was sick or if I have a cold. I was literally PISSED OFF and I still did not make a SCENE I said to myself I will never come back here ever again!!!! I Called back the next day and said to the lady upfront that my skin tags were still on my face and she did not even hit them in the right areas and she burned my face. She relayed the message to the Dr Ables, when she called me back she was getting NASTY with me and did not even let me speak at all. She kept saying I did the service and if you don't like it then I will charge you $250 instead of the $150 I told her off while she was continuing to speak to me in such an unprofessional manner I had to end the call. She should be REMOVED and STRIPPED from her DOCTORING. "BEWARE OF GOING TO THIS WOMEN!!" NEXT TIME I WILL READ THE BAD REVIEWS THEY ARE THERE FOR A REASON!
