“I’ve been looking for a shop in this area for a few years now. I’m originally from the Trenton area so I’ve been making the drive out there these last couple years due to not finding any decent ones in the area. I was hesitant to try but I get off work at 6pm and not many shops open past 7 and I needed a cut for tonight. I called around 1pm today and asked if I could come around 6:30 & the guy who answered was friendly and said to “si venga no más” meaning “yes come on by”. I got there around 6:25 and there was a couple people already waiting and 3 barbers but it seems that they were all waiting for one barber and the other 2 were chilling. I walked in and didn’t really get noticed but that stuff doesn’t bother me cause Trenton shops are the same so I’m used to it by now. I go up to the one cutting and ask if someone can fit me in and he tells one of the guys to get up and get to work but in a chill & friendly manner.
Mind you I was a bit nervous at this point cause I had no idea what I was about to end up with. I end up getting sat with Romeo & he was friendly enough. I told him I wanted a mid skin fade & a little off the top and showed a picture of a previous cut I had. He caught on quick and went to work.
The way he cut was different than the way I normally get my hair cut but i decided to trust the process. I truly feel like Romeo took his time with me and did his best to make me look right. I don’t know if this is how he is with all his clients or maybe it was just slow so he took his time but I have to say, I am truly happy with the fade i received. He shaped me up with razor, cleaned my eye brows, all without me having to tell him.
Cut took about 40 minutes & cost $30 but i left happy and satisfied. I will definitely be going back to Romeo. I’m so glad I found this spot. I would call before going though because it seems like it gets busy from the reviews I’ve seen below. Romeo gave me his card so I’ll definitely be scheduling my appointments with him from now on.“
