I would not recommend for kids. Brought my 4 year old grandson for a haircut. The barber obviously did not want to cut a child's hair. He did not talk to him just moved his head around and was very gruff. The haircut was fine but there were 3 rows of razor marks on his neck ( not cool especially because he usually loves haircuts and cooperates very well) For $30 I expected better. If he didn't want to do the child he could have referred him to one of the other 2 barbers. Our daughter has had good experiences there in the past. She actually calls it the "hip" place. We won't be back.

When I first moved to Madison, I had no idea what this town had to offer. My hair was getting long and I was getting desperate. I live right by a this barber shop, who can always clean me up nice for a reasonable price. The dude that cut my hair was professional but also quiet but that doesn't really matter because i don't really love to make conversation so I liked that about the haircut-- not having the pressure to have a full blown conversation. Just cut, pay and go. Straightforward service, highly recommend.

I've visited a few barbershops in this area for a few months now. This is the only barbershop that cut my hair to my liking. I have a very particular style of haircut that I enjoy. It's a "skin mid-fade." Many barbers don't seem to do it right. They don't fully "skin" all the way to the mid-point. Instead they remove the plastic from the clipper and call it "skin." It's not the right way to do it. The right way requires a precision electronic shaver. Anyhow, I visited Revolution Shave about a month ago and Miguel executed the haircut perfectly.
