Got the couples massage on Groupon. I felt the massage was fantastic. Had a lot of sore muscles after back to back days of heavy lifting for hours and felt a lot better afterwards. They had asked if I wanted a cupping add on but I didn’t feel like they were upselling like other reviews warned. No more than a waiter would ask you if you wanted to upgrade a baked potato to a loaded one. I also didn’t notice any aromas or scents which was nice since I get nauseated easily. I felt they earned their tips. I had a full hour massage compared to resort spas I’ve gone on vacation when one hour meant 45 min. They offered a package deal at the end and if I didn’t just move away from the area I’d consider it a good deal. I’d much rather splurge on a good massage than hair and nails.

My honest opinion about my experience: I have to admit that before going, I was a bit hesitant because of all the negative reviews here. However, my husband and I ended up having the best couples massage. The spa was clean, the staff was attentive, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the massage was excellent. 10/10.

I wish I would’ve read these reviews before buying the Groupon. However, everyone who is mentioning the excessive upselling, the superrrrr painful facials, and endless talking are correct. Not only do they insist on talking to you the entire time, but during my facial, someone else came in to finish my leg and foot massage, and they spoke to each other most of the time as well.
I was even encouraged to burn off my beauty marks and skin-tags during my facial, which has never even crossed my mind. I experienced all of this during my 2-hour visit. Currently nursing my very enflamed face and nose. Will not be returning.

Went in for a one hour massage and one hour facial. The massage was okay, but the facial was terrible. I could have given myself a better facial at home. The most they did was give me one of those paper face mask and the facial didn’t last an hour like it was supposed to. I’m highly disappointed in the facial. I asked for a radiance facial and they didn’t listen to my needs to give me what I asked for. The lady doing the facial kept pressing in on my nose to remove blackheads but she was really hurting me. The massage and the facial lady also kept asking me if I want to add additional services to get more money from me. What I also didn’t like is the lady doing the facial kept asking me questions when all I wanted to do was relax. People don’t go to the spa to chit chat. It’s supposed to be a relaxing atmosphere.

Massage was great and peaceful, until it got to the facial part. My massage had not finished before a different lady came in and started rushing on my face, not allowing me to enjoy the last 15 minutes of my massage. She proceeded to try to upsell me some kind of face treatment to kill dead skin, where it went from a price of $150 I told her it’s too much and I wasn’t interested she then said she’ll do it for $65, then said to $50. She insisted I needed it, in order for her to get off my case I agreed. The same lady that did my facial is the same one that charged in the front, insisted I give her tip and said an hour massage and an hour facial usually is $20 per employee… immediately I didn’t even want to tip. She also tried to tell me that Groupon is more expensive than actually paying full price.. I also made her aware it was a gift, I did not go on looking for them. She was really rude and I will definitely not be going back, just like that they lost a customer. Such a bummer because I was going to get the masseuses name so when I go next time I get the same girl, but absolutely not. Will never be attending this spa again. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I had an excellent experience here and can’t recommend it enough. From the moment I walked in, the space was calm, clean, and welcoming. The massage itself was outstanding — intuitive, therapeutic, and deeply relaxing. I left feeling noticeably better both physically and mentally. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and their craft. I’ll absolutely be back.

⭐ My Honest Experience at Lucid Beauty Spa – Millburn
I went in today using a coupon, hoping to enjoy a relaxing massage. Unfortunately, my experience turned into something extremely painful and upsetting.
In the middle of the massage, a new therapist came in and began pointing out “skin tags” on my neck that I had never even noticed before. She insisted she could remove them right there and that it would make my neck look “so beautiful.” She offered to do it for $100. I was surprised by the upsell during a massage, but she made it sound simple and harmless, so I agreed.
What happened next was shocking. She began burning the skin on my neck without properly explaining what she was doing. The treatment was painful, and I left the spa with multiple red burns all over the side of my neck. My skin was burning, irritated, and far worse than when I walked in. As you can see in the photo, my neck now looks severely irritated, and I am worried about possible scarring.
Instead of leaving relaxed, I left anxious, in pain, and extremely disappointed. I came for a massage — not an unsolicited cosmetic procedure performed without proper explanation or consent.
This should never happen to anyone. A spa should prioritize client comfort and safety, not pressure customers into unexpected procedures, especially ones that can cause injury.
I hope sharing my experience helps others make informed decisions.
