“When my wife and I initially began to procure estimates to improve our outdoor space, we had never envisioned we would have such a difficult time finding a reputable contractor who we felt good about. Out of the close to a dozen contractors we had spoken to, only 2 actually showed up when they said they would. Most of the others either kept us waiting or never showed up at all. Last October, while visiting a nearby landscaping supply company to do some product research, we happened upon Tom Sagona as he was helping a client of his. Without any hesitation, Tom was willing to answer any questions we had, which came as a pleasant surprise to us, as many other contractors didn't seem to want to be bothered unless we gave a deposit. We were able to schedule a consult with Tom at our home the following week, where he not only showed up, but was there early. Tom worked with us through the winter to procure a plan what would be an August/September project, all the while still maintaining the same punctuality we would grow to love about him and his company.Sagona Landscaping was able to transform a rather bland backyard into an outdoor oasis, perfect for entertaining or just relaxing with family. Tom, his brother Kevin, and their crew worked tirelessly, through the midsummer heat, six days a week and always arrived early. Both Tom and Kevin were extremely easy to work with, and they and their crew always conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism. And their craftsmanship is impeccable, as anyone can tell just by looking at the pictures. We could not be more satisfied with the outcome of our project. I asked for some plantings to create privacy in the back of my house. He created a thoughtful plan that created architectural interest, defined spaces and included many native shrubs. All perfectly scaled to the house and yard. And the proposal included the genus and species, so I knew exactly what to expect. He oversaw the placement and planting. Can't wait for the springtime! “Dedrick is phenomenal. We inherited a very run-down property when we bought our house in 2020. There were dead trees, tree stumps and logs, wires, random pieces of broken landscaping equipment, and very unhealthy plants. Dedrick went above and beyond doing a massive clean-up of the yard, sawing down the remains of the tree logs, pulling the wires out, planting, diagnosing and reviving the trees and plants that could be saved and providing guidance on seeding and plant care. Dedrick was able to do every job we threw at him! His passion for landscaping is evident in his beautiful work. He is so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. There were times when I accidentally left my sons toys on the yard and he so nicely put them on the deck instead of mowing around them. I highly recommend him to family and friends as well. “We didn't even know what we needed to do to make our backyard - large and absolutely filled with large rocks, weeds, roots, a sand pit where a pool had been, and gopher holes - livable space. So, on the recommendation of my brother who recently had his yard re-done, we called Seasons Matter and could not be more pleased! Kenny came by to do an assessment and was very quick and thorough in pointing out the problem areas and giving us an idea of how he could get our yard to a point where we could enjoy it. The estimate came through within a week, seemed very reasonable for the amount of work needed, and the work started only a few days later. We loved that an email with the names and pictures of all the workers was sent ahead of time. The crew was efficient, friendly, and quick! A tree was removed, another was pruned, a stump was dug out, thousands of egg stones were picked up by hand and artfully arranged in a different area of the yard, and the entire yard was eradicated of weeds, dead plants, and faux bamboo. They also moved a full pallet of slate from one side of the yard to another, and beautifully stacked it up for us. After all of that, they graded the area and seeded it. There's no room to bring in heavy equipment to our yard so they did all the work by hand, and all of this only took a day-and-a-half! Our yard is beautiful and ready to be decorated the way that we've always dreamed, our property was handled with care, and our driveway and side yards were left cleaner than they were when the crew arrived. We can't say enough good things about Seasons Matter and would be happy to recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping services!“

Joe's office is in Little Silver and he's very familiar with the challenges of having your yard look nice with all the deer who aren't afraid of humans and eat everything. We worked with another landscaper about 6 months prior and they were from a different part of NJ and they didn't plant the plants well, and they also put in a lot of plants deer loves to eat like hostas. Everything was stripped down really quickly! Joe and his team repurposed what they could to save us some money, and those plants they moved to the fenced-in backyard. And with the new design, everything out front was a deee resistant type of plant. The design looks really nice - joe came out twice to talk it through with us and took our feedback in mind and then showed us his sketch of the layout before we signed. “Anthony is the best! He and his team at TLC Lawn Maintenance know what they are doing. Anthony cares about his customers and it shows. He is very personable, responsible and gets back to you. Unlike other landscaping services. I live in a townhouse. Certain beds are the homeowner's responsibility now. He cleaned up the front, back gardens and center island in driveway of weeds, trimmmed trees and bushes and sprayed for my neighbor and I. It made such a difference. It was so overgrown before. He understands plants and know how much to trim without harming the plants. He's an expert. I know he doesother services including pavers and hardscapes. I already have them. “After 2 landscaping companies pulled a "no show" on us, we asked friends if they knew of a reliable landscaping company. Friends recommended Vic's Landscaping. Vic's motto is "aggressively seeking your business," and he lives up to those words. We called Vic, he showed up on time, had a game plan within minutes, and told us he would be back in a few days to start the project. Vic is unparalleled at designing landscaping, and executing on it. He is in charge. You are not. Here is an example. When we first met with him he said he was going to remove a tree in front of our house. I asked him not to remove the tree. We wanted to keep the tree. The first thing Vic did was remove the tree. I was initially upset about the tree, but I later realized he was right to remove it. Vic is the best landscaper in the area. If you see a home with amazing landscaping I guarantee Vic did it. Vic's prices are more than fair. Vic does not do well with people who try to haggle him or give him orders. If you're prepared for a landscaper who takes charge, and you want your home to stand out call Vic.“
