Overall they do a good job with cut, style and color. The only thing is they are a little pricey but I guess you get what you pay for! I definitely would go back for a color and trim every several months.

I struggled with whether or not I wanted to write a review but I feel it's important for the owner to understand that some things are just not right and they should consider changing the way they communicate prices. First off, the salon, the people, and the overall energy of the place is awesome. I had been following the black door salon/suite beverly on IG for some time and I was super excited to get my first natural cut and color after having locs for years. We communicated by text before my appointment and I asked about the price, she told me how much the cut and color would be. I've watched these women grow their business since their days in Piscataway. if you're looking for a place that will take your natural hair to the next level, this is the pace for you. the stylists are all very professional, the owners are hands on, and proactive, and they strive to make each customer leave feeling like a million bucks! I get compliments on my custom color all the time!
