Dr. Boyd is an amazing optometrist. I’m glad I finally found an eye doctor I am comfortable with. He is patient and caring and explains everything to you. They are located in a nice new, clean, office. If you are looking for a new optometrist definitely consider Metuchen Vision!
My eye Dr. retired and I was on the hunt for a new optometrist. I live in Metuchen and my insurance listed Dr. Ansel. Wonderful office, clean, friendly staff. Dr. Ansel is very nice. Ordered my new contacts and I ended up buying new frames during my visit. Small selection of frames, but nice selection. Pricing fit for all. Highly recommend you give them a try.
I had always gone for my eye exams near my job. I decided to support a local business and found Metuchen Vision..newly opened just a few months. I have worn glasses/contacts for years (decades really), and am a nurse so I feel I can accurately "rate" this experience. It is a small but efficiently run place. easy to make a convenient appointment, easy to find., easy check-in. Dr. Ansil was great. Since I dilate so easily, he instilled the perfect amount of eye drops to make it happen. Important to me as usually post exam I am miserable from excessive dilation for hours. No headaches, no severe pain in sunlight- just a tad bit of normal discomfort. His explanations were thorough, easily understandable. After my exam, I was helped by Bethany to pick out a new pair of glasses. It was awesome to have the expert help as I find it hard to find flattering glasses for myself. I have VSP insurance, so it was super easy to get it applied to my selection. Do not hesitate to make the appointment with Metuchen Vision!! My husband & I both received excellant care.
