First time visiting this barber shop last week om Main St.in Metuchen NJ..I want to recommend this place.. Dilson who cut my hair gave me one of the best cuts I have gotten in a long time.took his time and didn't rush.. although I'm losing my hair .I'm 64 years old young .lol..the owner is the best too.really friendly and they offer you water or coffee when you are waiting or when you are in the chair..they also gave me my senior citizen discount..nice..Thanks Elsie's Cuts..see you guys soon.. This was the best haircut experience I’ve had in YEARS. I scheduled an appointment with the Owner of the shop without even knowing and he educated me on my hair and best ways to style it . I left feeling refreshed and confident in my new look.

I have been to Essie’s just a few times but this past weekend was my wedding and I made an appointment with Miguel. He spent an hour working on my hair and beard, and was the best cut I’ve ever had. The owner was so accommodating and friendly, Essie’s rocks!
