Salon Luxx and Lauren were exactly what I was looking for- warm, inviting, privately own (not a chain), longevity in stylists, happy vibe scheduling and arriving, takes credit cards that include tips, one on one care, shampoo was great, stylists who really listen to their customers and make recommendations, but talk about it before actually doing it. Lauren talked about a strategy for styling and evaluated by sharing her reasoning in a genuinely caring manner. She’s is just great!! A true professional. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was just beautiful. This Black-owned salon is filled with such positive energy — all the ladies were so joyful, funny, and kind. It’s truly inspiring to see Black women come together, work in harmony, and genuinely enjoy what they do. The vibes were peaceful and full of love.

The whole time I was there, it was just laughter! My jaw was hurting leaving that place — that’s how much fun we were having!

My hairstylist, Destini, is such a darling. She was so sweet, attentive, and really took her time to make sure my hair came out perfect. You can tell she truly loves what she does.
