“Beach Bum Holmdel is top-tier. No competition when it comes to cleanliness, staff, or bed quality. I’m a lifer. I’ve been paying for the VIP All-Access unlimited monthly pass consistently for nearly 20 years.

That said, the hours keep getting cut back, and it’s frustrating. This location used to be open until 11 PM and even midnight at one point. Now it’s 9 PM on weekdays and 6 PM on weekends, and that’s simply too early for working adults. Especially when “closing at 9” really means the staff is already walking out the door.

What would make sense:
• Weekdays: at least 10 PM (10:30 would be ideal)
• Saturday & Sunday: at least 7–8 PM

Business idea worth serious consideration: a VIP 24/7 key-card add-on. Members pay a premium monthly fee for once-per-day access via swipe card or app. No added labor, fully compliant, and completely next-level. Planet Fitness proves the model works, and members will absolutely clean beds themselves.
