Open? Unbelievable the owner hasnt shut down the site for booking **Buyer beware**

However, I did find the other salons in the area to be accommodating and friendly after this surprise on my daughter Communion day!

I had an excellent experience as a first time client. My stylist Sarah was very friendly, enthusiastic and confident. She gave me an excellent scalp massage, layered haircut and blowout. Will definitely come back again!

My review is specifically for the attitude from my stylist, Kimberly. We walked in a few minutes late and as we apologized for running late, Kimberly rolled her eyes and said “ok come back here”. She immediately brought me to a sink to wash my hair. The first thing she said to me was “they overbooked me today and you’re my last client, and everyone else already got to leave”. I felt extremely uncomfortable because it was clear she did not want to be there. It was 4pm when the salon closes as 7, and though they get to leave when they are done for the day…. I had an appointment so it was really uncomfortable to be told “they overbooked me and I want to leave”.The whole time she kept saying how “I do the fastest blowout here, I usually take 35-45 minutes per person”… mine took 20 min. And the quality was clearly lacking. There were knots left in my hair at the end (literally little solid knots I had to physically break my hair to get out), and from the beginning she was ripping through the knots while my hair was wet with a stiff comb, zero time was taken to take care and slowly get any knots out and not rip through my hair.I did not receive a consultation or ability to look at styles and pick what I wanted. While my hair turned out sort of how I asked (simple blowout, but with body/some styling… simply by me saying this, not actually choosing anything) there was literally no styling or volume really at all. Given the discomfort the entire visit I just wanted it to be over and said it looked fine.I will leave a separate review for my sister who had a phenomenal visit at the same exact time with Diamond who was lovely, friendly, and did an amazing job on my sister’s hair.

I was definitely nervous about booking based on the mixed reviews- I guess it depends on the stylist. I had a dry style with Alandre and was very happy with how it turned out! She took the time to listen to my concerns, put extra spray to help my hair hold for a later photoshoot, and showed me how to comb it through. My hair held up great and I was very happy! The only thing I'll mention is that dry styling is only $9 cheaper than a blow dry with style, which I think is a little odd, but still reasonably priced overall.

Went and got 2 french braids. The girl knew what she was doing and did it quickly. I was quoted a lower price over the phone by mistake and they upheld their quote.

Worst $120 I’ve spent in a long time. When I booked the appointment, I was very clear that I needed an updo. They told me “we can do that”. Great! I get there, they wash my hair, and I ask my stylist, Savannah about the updo. She said to me “I don’t do updos, I don’t know how” then she said “well, I guess I could look it up on YouTube”. No thank you! I was highly annoyed. But what ever, I moved on. I ended up just having her curl it. I’d like to state that the stylist was very nice and personable. Then I go to get my make up done. The makeup artist come in and is very nice. When talking to her I find out she is not licensed. And 18. So I don’t care about her age, but what bothered me was that I ended up with a very inexperienced makeup application that looked like my daughter just applied. It was very pale and very cakey. My eyelashes didn’t even last 2 hrs before they fell off. I will not be returning.

This was my first time going to a blowout bar, as my usual stylist was away and I wanted my hair done for a wedding. Unfortunately, I left very disappointed. My stylist was Savannah - while she was pleasant to interact with, I felt she lacked confidence and competence. I requested the ‘big and bouncy’ look, though my curls fell in less than 30 minutes following my departure. Within a few hours, my hair was flat & looked 2 days old. I had to ask her to re-curl a very obviously flat section of hair and fix a wonky curl, which she did, but responded “I don’t know why I didn’t check this side of your hair, sorry for missing that” and gave herself strange reassurances throughout my styling. I honestly felt like she was practicing on me and didn’t truly know what she was doing. I’d be willing to give Cherry another chance as the facilities are nice and booking & check in/out quick , but will be asking for a highly favored stylist in the future.
