accidentally made an appointment at the staten island location but they were very understanding and helpful here! got my appointment switched and taken very quickly. great atmosphere, and everyone was super nice. haircut was adorable too.

i rarely leave reviews, but after spending $625 on my hair, i feel like i need to share my experience.
i’ve been going to adrianna for about 3 years, which is why this is so disappointing. i trusted her with my hair and never expected to leave an appointment feeling the way i did.
i went in for a balayage, haircut, and extension service. i asked for a very subtle balayage, but the result was uneven, poorly blended, and not what i had requested. my money pieces were uneven, my haircut was uneven, and there was still glue left in my hair afterward.
the most concerning part of this experience was the extensions. within a day, i was experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort. it didn’t feel normal, and i knew something wasn’t right. during the removal process, there was already visible breakage between the tape tabs.
i ended up getting opinions from multiple licensed professionals and beauty school educators, and i was repeatedly advised that the extensions needed to be removed because of the amount of tension. i was told that continuing to wear them could potentially lead to tension alopecia, which was honestly scary to hear.
what makes this even harder is that i’ve been getting extensions from adrianna for years. my hair normally grows very quickly, yet i’ve seen very little growth during that time. seeing the breakage and the condition of my hair left me genuinely concerned.
what upset me most was how my concerns were handled. when i reached out about the issues, i never received an apology. instead, i was removed from her social media. after being a loyal client for years, that felt incredibly unprofessional and dismissive.
to the salon’s credit, management did offer a partial refund, which i appreciate. however, after spending over $600, being left in pain, having to remove the extensions, dealing with uneven color and a haircut that needs correction, i don’t feel the refund fully addressed what happened.
the worst part is that getting my hair done is usually something that makes me feel confident. instead, i left feeling stressed, insecure, and worried about the condition of my natural hair.
i truly didn’t want to leave a negative review, but i think it’s important to share my experience so others can make an informed decision.

I’ve been going to Dina for over two years, and there is truly nobody else I trust with my hair. She has done every haircut and blowout for some of the biggest milestones in my life, and she always makes me feel my absolute best. I have extremely long, thick, wavy hair, which can be challenging to work with, but Dina gets it right every single time. She listens to exactly what I want, pays attention to every detail, and consistently delivers amazing results. Whether it’s a simple haircut or getting me ready for a special event, I always leave feeling confident and loving my hair. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s also kind, professional, and genuinely cares about her clients. I can’t recommend her enough!

Amanda Babic did a fantastic job on my haircut! Saw her work and she delivered! Butterfly layers for days and the most bomb blowout ever! The gentleman at the front desk was kind and as efficient as he could be with the heavy volume of happy ladies getting beautified on a Saturday morning and everyone was very pleasant. Will definitely be back. Very happy to have found a great place close to home.

Not sure what the issue was yesterday, but this was among the worst haircuts I’ve ever gotten. Found this place because they are rated as having expertise in curly hair. If you have curly hair, you know how annoying it can be to find someone who can actually cut this hair type well. Surreal experience. Spent 45 minutes here: 10 minutes waiting, 10 minutes shampoo, 15 minutes under the dryer, and 10 minutes of actual haircut, which felt like just a handful of random scissor snips that left my mop looking just as messy as it did when I came in: barely any shorter, uneven, strays everywhere, neck fuzz. The response when I got home said it all: “I thought you went for a haircut?”

Nicole has been my stylist for years and is fantastic. She always takes great care of me and makes sure I walk out loving my hair and feeling beautiful and confident. She is always on time and has great ideas if I ever want to try anything new. She also does my highlights which I love every time and they last a long time. If you are looking for someone new, definitely give Nicole a try!

WARNING IF YOU ARE NOT WHITE DO NOT GO HERE. They do not know how to style ethnic/3a hair. I had a keratin treatment done and they did not apply the product properly. They only took 2 hours (my normal time is 4-5 hours) and brushed my hair while it was dry! I had to pay another stylist in NYC to fix it.

I had a wonderful second time visit. .first of all walking into this beautiful place, your eyes light up and you feel like a girl again! Nicole gave me a cut today and after not having my hair done over a year, I feel amazing! She did an incredible job and shes very nice! Thank you! Ill be returning ☺️

Never going back again The stylist Nicole was very inattentive, careless and just wanted to get done with cutting my hair and straightening it, she absolutely did a terrible job. She didn’t even care to check if the cut was perfect or even good considering that it was a very short cut and I actually had to retouch using my flat iron as soon as I arrived home because she didn’t even put any effort in styling it and I couldn’t go outside looking the way I left the salon.
