“Last year around this time, Dr. Julissa arranged for me to come in on very short notice to help with a serious issue I was experiencing. I was almost nine months pregnant when something in my back and hip gave out, leaving me unable to walk without a cane due to the intense pain. I could barely get around, and because I was pregnant, most providers told me I would simply have to deal with it until I delivered.
Dr. Julissa was warm, welcoming, and incredibly empathetic. More importantly, she took the time to thoroughly assess me and determine what might be causing the problem. After my first treatment, I noticed a significant improvement. I believe I saw her twice in the same week, and the nerve pressure in my hip and back decreased dramatically. Within a short time, I was able to ditch the cane, put weight on both legs again, and walk much more comfortably.
I am so grateful for Dr. Julissa's expertise, compassion, and willingness to help when I felt like I had run out of options. She made an enormous difference in my quality of life during the final weeks of my pregnancy, and I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone dealing with pain or mobility issues.“

The care from Dr. Rachel (PT) and Dr. Meg (Chiropractic) was not only thorough but personalized and administered with care and kindness. The PT assistants -every single one - are just as wonderful, diligent and truly caring. Every session started with someone asking me how I felt that day so the working session was tailored to what my body needed. I had a goal to develop endurance for my son’s upcoming wedding next week and I know I met that goal. Went for a curly cut with Gena and wanted layers to add volume, to maintain my length, and most of all not to get the poodle cut (layering too short and it doesn’t look good when curly hair dries). I wanted something local too as my past favorite salon is pretty far away; Illusions has become that place.
