“I had a small job and I reached out to Fences 4 Us primarily because they had great reviews and they're local to me...I'm a firm believer in supporting local businesses. Well to my delight Reinaldo came through like the pro that he is! I called on Wednesday and after leaving a message he returned the call within about 30 minutes. We agreed that he would swing by to look at what needed to get done, but left the time open. He said he would swing by soon as he could since he would be in the area. He did exactly that. He also said he'd call me back with a quote, which he also delivered on. I hired him on the spot...didn't even ask for any other quotes. I signed a contract that very same day, Wednesday, which pretty much left the work date open, but Reinaldo inserted 'ASAP'. It's towards the end of summer and everyone knows that contractors are still super busy. Sure enough yesterday, Friday, his guys were in the area so he called me and said they could swing by on their way back if that was good for me. Ah, yeah...so job completed as promised! Anyone who has dealt with contractors know that reliability, and quality of work are huge. Yes price is important, but what's the value in a cheap price if they don't show up when expected, or they show up to spike the job and don't come back for days, or they do a poor job, or all of those. Unfortunately as many of us do, I have one of those nosy 'Karen' neighbors from hell and Reinaldo came up with a great suggestion. I'm hoping to hire him for the additional project sooner rather than later I highly recommend Fences 4 Us to anyone who may need installation or removal.“
“We had a long list of projects at our house that needed work. Montclair Handyman Services gave us a free estimate that itemized each task with the description of work and amount for each task. Their descriptions matched exactly what was needed and the price was reasonable so we decided to hire them. We are so happy we did! Everything went very smoothly and we were more than satisfied with the results.We then hired them to replace the old insulation in the crawl space under our family room that was falling down in places. There is very little room to maneuver and we had no luck in the past finding anyone that would do the job, even the original contractor that had built the add-on. This was a difficult job! They removed the old insulation, replaced it with new, and sealed everything in with hard plastic sheeting to prevent it from getting dirty or falling down in the future. Just what was needed.This company does quality work with attention to details. I highly recommend them.“

“We needed a quick estimate for roofing repairs and Jammyl drove right over the same day. We ended up going with replacement instead and Gonsana did a great job! The price was very reasonable, Jammyl kept in touch about scheduling, drove shingle samples over for us to review ahead of time, crews came on time and cleaned everything up afterward. We highly recommend Gonsana and will call again when we get around to updating our windows!“

It was easy to get in touch with Nick and get an appointment within a reasonable period of time. He has an eye for both the big picture and small details; some details no one had even noticed! The report and recommendations were solid and straightforward, including estimates. This was very helpful when considering whether to proceed with the house and needed improvements, or keep looking. “Frankly, I'm shocked by some of the other reviews here. It's like we're talking about 2 different guys. We hired nick to lay down a patio with walkways, clear some areas, install drainage, and do some minor planting. My experience was stellar. Nick gave me a price that was far better than any of 6 or 7 other landscapers I consulted, he got the job done in a very short time and before a critical deadline, he always responded to my text messages and calls, he was knowledgeable about town ordinances and permitting requirements as well as the various planting we requested, the quality of his work was excellent, and he corrected every little nit that I raised without objection. Plus, he's an awfully nice guy. I'm giving him a big thumbs up; I was very happy.“
