LaChaney's Dance and Music Academy, located in Maplewood and Union, provides a vibrant and professional atmosphere for students of all ages, race, and gender. For over 23 years, the academy has focused on offering a diverse range of programs, including Ballet, Hip-Hop, Tap, Jazz, ACRO (Gymnastic), Music, and Fitness, starting as early as 2 years old. The teachers and staff are very dedicated and supportive, treating every single child as if they were their own. The owner is very nice and welcoming, and the staff always smiles. The energy that flows through LaChaney’s is truly refreshing. Students look forward to their classes, and parents feel great knowing they left their children with the right people. The academy is a dance family, where children grow in both skill and community, going from being really shy to becoming super confident. The staff is wonderful and patient with the children, who run to them just to get those big smiles. A Friday Night fun night allows parents to have Fridays without the kids, and the kids love it. The dance recitals are like Broadway shows, starting precisely on time with no distractions for the dancers. LaChaney’s is definitely someone solid to recommend.
