I brought my elderly sister to Excel Salon to get her hair cut. I was told the person who would be cutting her hair was the owner. My sister asked for an angled bob and the owner gave her what she wanted to give and by no means is that right. We also asked if she would be willing to wipe down her area before she started because the previous customer who was in that chair, had just sneezed all over. Unfortunately, we were told that was not necessary and that wiping down her counter space was not something that was needed to be done. She even shrugged her shoulders out of anger. Just got my nails done here. Acrylic set. Everybody was truly sweet but in all honesty, technique was sub par and not at all worth the painful $70 total i paid. My nail polish looks clumpy and applied badly, glue all over the underside of all my nails and the edges. Each nail is either crooked or filed unevenly. Not to mention 4 cuts on 4 individual nails from vigorous filing. I have yet to find somewhere around here that can do a good job with acrylics.
