“I began working out at Powerhouse in June of 2024. In that time I have gained endurance, flexibility and most importantly strength in the 6 months I have been attending. My running times are faster and my overall health has improved. I came in as a runner, post menopausal with a knee replacement, who had no strength or agility. I knew the importance of lifting weights as a woman over 50. I was lacking knowledge and drive. Being new to the area I didn’t know about any of the gyms. The moment I talked with Michele on the phone I had a feeling this might be the right place for me. I have been going 3 times a week since June. I do the earliest morning classes and love it. It’s a variety of people who all have their reason and there is no judgement. We encourage one another. The instructors are amazing. They work with you individually and make sure to modify if needed. I feel encouraged and motivated. I am grateful to have a place that has been comfortable from the first class.“

“Hit or miss depending on staff. Some of the staff have great technique (lymph drainage, breaking muscle knots, shiatsu and deep tissue skillsets), while others don't. When you get the right staff, worth every penny, when you don't, you leave feeling that you still need treatment. Find this to be true wherever you go for treatment.“
