Recently, we held my husband’s funeral at the Jewish chapel, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the care and compassion we received during such a difficult time.
Taylor went above and beyond in every way. She gently guided us through each step, always making sure we understood everything and felt supported. Her kindness and patience meant so much to our family.
Keith was also wonderful—he served as a gracious and attentive host, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that our guests were taken care of. The entire staff handled every detail with professionalism and sensitivity, helping make a very painful day feel as seamless and peaceful as possible.

They made it even more special by planning a salute from the Marine Corps who showed up live to play taps and present a flag - an incredibly special tribute. Rabbi Tobin, whom they recommended, did a great job of capturing my dad’s spirit. I could not have been happier with the care and attention we received. I highly recommend them.

In one of the most difficult moments of our lives, we were fortunate to be guided through the process by Michael Brown at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Funeral Chapel. His compassion, professionalism, and genuine care helped make an incredibly painful process more bearable.
Michael's prior experience shepherded us through the logistics of a celebration of life service in NJ and a burial in California —he offered comfort, listened with empathy, and paid attention to every request. He was able to locate a caring, flexible rabbi who communicated the right touch and empathy during our sadness. With his assistance we were able to host an informal luncheon afterwards.
Thank you, Michael, for your quiet presence and organized style so that the whole process went smoothly in NJ and California.
