The SPUR riding program for people with special needs has been a highlight of my son’s week for over a decade. This is an incredible program led by a dedicated, caring, and highly competent team and a group of special volunteers. The facility is clean, comfortable and pretty and the horses are gentle and well cared for. Anyone, adult or child, with special needs can apply to be a part of this truly wonderful program.
If you want to feel like you're in a Hallmark movie, then visit this place. Esp around Christmas time. Love the program, and the instructors are the best group of women you will ever meet. The students are adorable, and the barn staff simply amazing at what they do.
The park system has resumed equestrian lessons.Restrooms: The main building has restrooms.Dog-friendliness: Because of the horses some fenced areas and the barns are dog prohibited areas unless they are service animals.
