Friday night there was a storm and water was coming into our house as a result. I called GI Construction Monday morning, and the owner Gent came over shortly after and assessed my roof. He explained to me why the roof was leaking, and pointed out faults that were even visible from the ground. He showed me pictures and video of the issues he assessed during his inspection.

I reviewed my options and decided to go with GI Construction because of the professionalism Gent exhibited.

“Bergen Backyard LLC was one of many contractors I invited to provide estimates for replacing my 34 year-old, 34'x16' wolmanized wood deck with a new composite deck.Kevin responded quickly with an estimate and revised estimates as I explored design alternatives until a final design was reached. He provided color samples of Wolf Decking (which I had never heard of) and explained the pros/cons of the various decking products on the market. We selected the Wolf products and the two tone design looks absolutely beautiful using the Camo hidden deck fastener system since not a single screw is visible on the surface.From the day I first met Kevin until the end of the project, he and his team were punctual, courteous, and truly professional craftsmen that take great pride in their work and ensuring customer satisfaction with the final product.At the end of each day they spent time cleaning up and left the job site neat. Kevin kept us well informed of his progress and what was to be completed by when. He had estimated two weeks start-to-finish, and even with a few early January weather delays, the entire project was completed in 11 days. “Greg did a major renovation on my home 3 years ago, blowing off the roof and building a complete second floor. This was in addition to redoing 75% of the first floor all while allowing us to still live in the house. Everything still looks as new as the day they built it. There are no cracks in the sheetrock, no creeks no chipee paint, no leaks in the bathrooms, no issues at all. Very highly recommend“

“I found American home remodeling during the pandemic when we were considering finishing our back yard. They offered a reasonable price for a patio but we weren't ready at the time. Fast forward 2 years and we were finally ready and they came back with a solid estimate but had to raise the price. They were definite not inexpensive but they made up for that with the quality and quickness of the work. I had an entire 1000 sq ft paver patio and fire pit put in with a zipper drain and the pitch of the ground done to eliminate water pooling toward the house. They showed up when they said they would (with a slight reschedule here and there) and they finished the patio within 2 weeks. It's beautiful and very well installed. They also dug a trench on the side of my house where I get water pooling and fixed a crack in my foundation and installed a zipper drain there tying into my downspouts. They also built a fence for me a few weeks later and completed that job in a day. The finishing and professionalism was good. See the pics attached. It cheap but you get what you pay for. A job done quickly andas expected and no games with the pricing or up charging.“
