I’ve been coming here all my life and the staff is always professional and so kind. I recently had a visit with Dr. Yu and he is one of the best! He explains everything so well and my filling was painless! I actually look forward to coming in because I know I’ll be greeted with great people. Keep doing what you’re doing!

I was a patient at this office many years ago when owned by Dr. Gaines. I moved away in 2021 and stopped seeing this office. I recently moved back and was curious what the transition would be with the new owner of the practice (Dr. Yu). But WOW! All my nerves went away with how welcoming the staff and Dr. Yu were. Dr. Yu is extremely knowledgable and takes the time to explain anything that is needed to. It is easy to tell he is passionate and cares about dentistry. I am so happy to be back at Lawrence Dental and continue my care here.

I was Dr. Gaines’ patient for a few years, then left the office when he passed away and a new owner took over. However, there was recently another ownership transition, and I returned to the office today. I was very impressed by the level of care, which tops the 7+ dental offices I’ve frequented over the past few decades. The hygienist gave me an extremely thorough cleaning, and Dr. Yu (the new owner) diagnosed an issue with my teeth that has never been brought up before (namely, that I am brushing too hard, causing damage to my teeth). I especially appreciated his commitment to making sure I understood the problem, not just prescribing the right solution. Looking forward to returning.

Been patient of this practice for 6 years under previous ownership which they were amazing!! Not so good since they sold it. My recent cleaning didn’t go well hygienist was so aggressive she was pocking me like I haven’t clean my teeth in 10 years, I do my cleaning every 6 months never asked me if I was ok during procedure it seemed to me very unprofessional. Taking my business somewhere else.

Do not bring your children here they are not good with kids. The hygienists are rude and impatient. Not mention how long they make you sit in the waiting room before even being seen.

I have been a patient for more than Two years. There was a change in owner recently and they have been doing a really bad job with communicating coverage. Previously any service not covered was communicated before hand. Now I get to learn that after the services. Even though doctor recommends what is better, it is the patient who pays so communicating to patient for not covered Services beforehand is basic thing.

Got a cavity filled and a chip in my tooth repaired. In less than a month both fillings had fallen out. Disappointed in their inability to properly repair teeth and adhere the fillings to teeth.
